Need Ideas For Your Niche To Build Your Blog Around?

December 20th, 2009 ritzy No comments

Things to consider when starting your blog website.

Just like getting your domain name and blog title right , fore thought needs to be given on your blog subject or niche???

The BIG question is: What are you interested in? What is your passion? Setting up your own blog should be seen as a long term project, with long term commitment for it to be effective. Good content has to be continuously added, to bring your readers back for more. This takes dedication on your part, so share what you are passionate about. This makes it fun, as you share what you love.  Doing this brings vibrancy and enthusiasm to your blog… Because you love what you write about, you have much to share. No writers block in this area!!!

It is normally best to keep your blog to a specific subject or focused niche

Finding the right niche within your passion is also key. Do a Google search for a “free key word tool”. Type in your niche name and see how many searches per month are made for this term. This will give you an idea on how popular that is. Most tools will also give other suggested phrases to think about to use as your base.

By making your blog focused on a certain niche helps the search engines source relevant content for it’s users who are looking for information. If you can give them what they are looking for, the search engines will match you up and bring visitors to your website. The more visitors the more successful your blog will become…

Are You Frustrated With Your Home Based Business?

December 5th, 2009 ritzy No comments

My partner has just updated his website, I feel it just needs a little love. Wont you head on over to Home Based Business Solutions and give it a thumbs up if that’s what you are into.

Thanks for that!

“Are you not getting the desired results from your home business or just frustrated with all this Internet jargon and tech stuff? You are not alone. Tell me if this is correct, you were taken in with the dream of riches, by working from the comfort of your home and you did not realize how much learning and disappointments were involved?

Well, as a matter of fact it was a little over a year ago when I first saw the dream and decided to work from home. Little did I realize the massive learning curve that was involved, the confusion and frustration of those early months? How to set up my first website? What was SEO and the best way to bring visitors (traffic) to my offer? Of course any one jumping into the deep end like that gets to either swim or…

I remember only too well to be told to “Do it this way”, and then get a recommendation from someone else to do something totally different. Does this sound familiar? Information overload was a huge problem in keeping focus on how to progress.

Fortunately I was able to find some great mentors who gave me good no nonsense business advice. They showed me what to focus and direct my energies on, what personal skills to develop and of course gave the encouragement to persist, follow through.

I have found focus a key issue here. Once in a passing comment someone said; “You always get what you focus on”. You can either see a problem or a solution. Focus is a sustained, intense attention on something until obtained. Naturally getting what you want also requires a dream, a burning desire, a reason to push through and learn from any mistakes that you make. (Action is always involved)

For most of us just starting out to make money, out sourcing is just not an option. This means taking the bull by the horns and learning all the necessary skills to make your business a success. The good news here is these skills developed are for life, you gain confidence and satisfaction from doing something worthwhile, that you can do it…

As you develop so too does your income. These frustrations are only temporary, so relax in the knowledge that others before you have done it and so can you.
