The Good.

Internet Banking is becoming extremely user friendly and convenient to use. PayPal an online banking facilitator has become very popular in the internet marketing world. They will take payments from your customers bank accounts and deposit the money into yours for a small fee. They also do International payments using current exchange rates to the major currencies.

If you don’t have a website you can do Email payments using their fast and secure way to electronically request payment from your customers. Just send your buyer an Email which includes a button that they can click on to pay you through PayPal.

If you decide on a website (recommended) you can start selling single items by adding a buy now button. Your customers can make a purchase on your site by simply clicking on the button. For multiple items a button called PayPal Shopping Cart can be loaded on to your site.

The Bad.

You will have to sign up for a PayPal business account. To verify your bank account in order to make and take payments can take 5 working days or longer. It is a simple process, just takes time. Your customer will need to open a PayPal account in order to make any payment. This is an easy thing to do IF they have their own bank account. Having a Paypal account also makes spending on line very easy. Not good for your bank account!!!!!

The Ugly.

Fraud can be a problem if you are not careful with your pin number (NEVER, EVER give your pin number to anyone, not even a PayPal employee). When PayPal sends you and Email it should always address you by your full name. When making payments always check that the link is secure i.e. it should be https:// and not the normal http:// Just always be careful with any payments on line…

All in all PayPal gives very good service and is a treat to use.
