As Marketers we are all aware of the
Fundamentals’ in Marketing:

Drive Traffic to Your Website, Blog or Squeeze,
Get their Name and E mail details,
Get Your Leads Interested in Your offer,
Close the sale.
Make money…..
Easy!!!
So why do 95% of marketers not make $ ????
Our First Question should be,
How do I improve what I am doing to get more
customers and Maximise the profits from existing
Buyers that have bought in my Niche, Right?

We all have our own idea on how to drive traffic,
either through article writing and using ezinearticles.com,
SEO on our Blogs, StumbleUpon.com, Twitter.com
technorati.com, Squidoo.com or Pay per Click, such as:
Google AdWords, Microsoft adCenter or Yahoo Marketing solutions.

So we feed our site with Visitors. How do we improve
our results with the efforts that we are making?
It surely is not due to a lack of effort, that we are
not making maximum returns.

We need to look at Marketing Psychology.
Most people will not just buy off the bat.
i.e. from getting your prospects reading your add
to making an instant purchase.  This is the first big mistake most marketers make.
Your visitors, they need a bit of romancing.
You don’t normally expect to score on your first date.

There is a process you need to follow,
Show them the benefits, get them to contact you,
build a relationship, trust and they will later
want to buy from you.

So in order for you to build a relationship with your visitors,
and build confidence and trust for them to want to buy from you.

1.You need a strategy  to get your prospects to want to hear
from you again.
This can be done by offering useful, valuable, helpful
information to help them fore fill their needs/wants..
You have to get into the mind of your prospects,
understand what is driving them, in order to find out
how best to serve them.
Once they contact you, build the relationship with them
and when trust is formed and they see the value in
your recommendations a sale can be made.

2.Your Squeeze page. The words You Use ….
This you have to get right… One thing wrong and you will loose
that prospect. Study and learn how successful marketers get this
right.
Headline, you must use Powerful Words to Get their Attention,
Interest, Desire and Want to Read Further..
Most Powerful Words:
You, Your, How, Who, Money, Now, People, Want, Health, Love, Sex,
Hot, Quick, Easy, New and Free….

3.You “MUST” have a Squeeze page or what can be called an opt in,
capture or sign up page. You need to collect buyers names and
emails.
You have to overcome all obstacles and questions that a visitor
may have, and convince them, that it is the right thing to buy from
you.
Also these clients can later be E mailed with future offers.
This is where you will begin to make serious profits on auto-pilot.

4. Follow up on all leads in order to build familiarity and trust
with you,
plus give further information on the benefits of your products.
If your lead has the slightest hesitancy about your product and
how they will benefit, the chances are….. no sale.

Very important to put your self in their shoes and think,
What information am I looking for that would satisfy and overcome
all doubts/ questions related to this?

They must know all the unique selling points that will benefit them.
Mag wheels on a car are obvious, so no need to expand, but the split
60/40 rear seats means that they can be folded forward and a 6 foot
ladder can be carried in the back.
This is a benefit. They need justification to make this purchase.
You need to answer all their lingering questions..
Following up on leads is also to prevent your prospect from
forgetting about you and your services/products.

Follow ups can be done through a series of emails set up
automatically using an auto responder such as Aweber.

5.Build a “take action now or loose out” approach in your sales
letter.
Most people are very undecided and need to be prompted into taking
action today.
By offering a free gift to the first 50 customers buying this
product would put an urgency into your offer as they would not want
to miss out.
A one time offer to each customer would also mean loosing out if
they left that page, for instance.
People hate to feel that they could miss out on an opportunity,
this will prompt them to make that decision to make that purchase
and so take action.
At the end of your email always put a P.S. as a final offer. You
would be surprised
as to how many will click this link in closing.

6. When a customer gets to your check out and has decided
to buy your product, offer a further complementary product
that will help them further. If you buy a car for instance,
just before you sign the deal, the salesman will offer fitted
climate control and free insurance for $999 extra. You think
that’s not bad, might as well, so an extra sale was made.
Same with online sales, have you noticed how a pop up window
or P.S. appears just after hitting the pay now button offering a
special offer, promoting something further that you just got to
have.
This is a great way to increase your sales with very little effort.
Successful marketers do this so, so should you.

7. Follow up with updates on the products that they bought.
Send out follow up e mails with new improved or complementary
products that they might be interested in. I have just received
a reminder from my computer company to say that my warrentee
has expired and all I need to do is fill out the order form below
to have extra insurance cover on my computer. 
Once someone has bought from you and was happy with your service,
greater is the chance of them buying from you again…
Repeated sales is something as a marketer you need to strive for.
Think of ways to maximize sales to all your customers and make it




easy for them to buy from you.
