Blogs are a very easy way to create an income online. They are very simple to set up and because content is regularly updated, search engines give them more importance. This is a valuable asset as this becomes the engine for future “traffic ” that drives your monetizing efforts.

A blog can be an excellent foundation to create income on line, both through advertising on site, together with what can be promoted through it. You may have heard that the money is in the list, well this is true. Focus on building a large targeted list of potential prospects (Names and Email addresses) as the generator of your future blog sourced income. The life blood to your blog.

This is Why…Gone are the days of cold selling. Buyers now days tend to go where they are comfortable and familiar. A blog is the ideal medium as a meeting platform between you and the public. They hopefully like what they see and read from you. This is the base from which to work and build a relationship of trust with those who like your style.

Again, keeping in mind that the money is in the list, your aim now should be to steer your visitor towards what is called a ”squeeze“, “landing“, “opt in” or “capture page“. This can be done in a number of ways, the simplest would to offer a freebie in exchange for their name and email details. The idea is to communicate and warm your relationship as a reminder of the benefits and services you offer.

It is no good having a shop on the corner if no one knows about you, even if you offer the best and most reasonable products. E-mailing you list is your way of reaching your potential customers with something of value to them. This process can be very easily automated to earn you income even in your sleep. How To Build and “OWN” Your Own Blog Website…

You have decided you want to “own” your own blog website for various reasons. The good news is it’s a very simple exercise and takes either one of two routes depending on the type of blog you want. 

1. For a personal blog where you want to simply sit at your key board and write a burp to what’s on your mind. This takes nothing more than going to:  http://www.blogger.com  to sign up for a new account, then follow their instructions and away you go.

2. For the more serious blogger who is interested in promoting them selves or their business the second route is recommended that will take time, effort and a little expense in buying a domain name, finding a web-host with a WordPress account (Recommended For Blogging) and setting up this way. To do it properly you have 3 options;

A. Decide to get a professional to set one up for you. The easy but expensive way as you will always depend on outside sources for further help as you will know little of the workings behind the scenes. 

B. Learn the ropes using all the free material on the Internet, such as http://www.youtube.com training videos to progress using a trail and error strategy. This is the cheapest method but most time consuming as you step through a mine field of the unexpected.

C. Learn through video to be taken by the hand in a step by step process, showing you the recommended resources, what to do and how to use them for the best blogging results. Putting a blog up is only half of the equation, the other half is setting it up to get visitors to know and come visit, called “traffic building“.

To help you set up your own website and autoresponder mailing list system, a membership site I recommend is the one that helped me set mine up. Your first months membership cost I think is $1. Try it out and see how easy it is to follow step by simple step video instruction. If you do not like what you see- cancel your subscription.

Make Money From Blogs. 5 Beginners Guide Tips

Blogging is not a get rich quick scheme. What I have found is use blogs as a primary way to share a passion in getting quality content onto the web. 

It has to be a passion on your part because in order to make it a money maker it needs persistence, enthusiasm and dedication. There are exceptions to this, if you’re a well known celebrity for instance. Other than that it may take time and a lot of work to become known and followed.                                                

So here are my 5 blog beginners guide money making tips:

1. To successfully monetize your blog you have to make it a living personality that grows, communicates and interacts with your visitors. Make it a one stop resource centre that supplies as many benefits as possible. Always be on the lookout for new ideas, entertainment, information or resources for your prospects. Frequent forums within your blogosphere to find out what people want in order to know what to provide.

2. Find affiliates within your niche that you can partner with by promoting their products. For every sale made coming from you earns a commission. Two well known sites that offer digital products such as information eBooks and computer soft ware are: Clickbank at www.clickbank.com,  and  www.paydotcom.com.

3. Put Google adsence on your blog. All it is, is a code that you sign up for from Google to add in your WordPress wigget area. This scans your blog for appropriate  products related to your blog content to promote. Every click earns you a commission.

4. Sign up with www.Amazon.com or www.Ebay.comto promote their physical products as a partner, for a small commission of course. Amazon has a number of promotions to choose from that you can add to your blog, all very easy to set up. With Ebay choose a product, write a review and promote that affiliate link.

5. Create your own product such as an ebook, using PLR products, audio Mp3 file or instructional video. Sign up with Paypal for example, set up a payment button to install on your site to take any payments for you.

Most of these affiliate sites have training videos helping you set up. If you get stuck do a web search, there is stacks of free training, especially on Youtube for you. Now although it’s free, and relatively easy to
get started, it’s great to have help in making
sense of everything you can do with the
site.

I’ve been learning how to use the site a lot
